Our Mission
CPNV is a group of like-minded professionals consisting of attorneys, mental health professionals and financial experts who believe the best way to address family matters is in a safe and confidential setting. We are an open and welcoming organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and inclusive process to fit the needs of traditional and non-traditional families.
Your Collaborative Process involves four fundamental principles:
Non-Adversarial
Both partners and their attorneys commit that they will not take the dispute to court. This allows everyone to focus on problem solving and reaching agreements rather than litigation.
Family Centered
No matter what your family looks like, Collaborative has the right solution. Each partner’s personal, family, and financial goals and interests are highlighted and carefully considered as the partners work toward a resolution on all issues.
Supportive Professional Team
In addition to Collaboratively trained attorneys who provide legal guidance, partners are also able to turn to mental health coaches and financial neutrals to address the family-related, financial and tax issues.
Full, open and honest disclosure
There is complete, open and transparent communication between attorneys, other professionals, and partners. The partners commit to sharing all relevant information and documentation.
