IMPASSE AND DEADLOCK: OUR MONSTERS OF THE DEEP

Refreshing and Refining Our Skills For Navigation and Escape

Presented by: Lisa Herrick, PhD and Brian Hirsch, JD

Entrenched positions. Going in circles. Irrational demands meeting highly emotional reactions. These are just some of the demons we face when our cases get stuck and we feel frustrated, discouraged, and/or at a loss for what might help. This program will explore some of the common ingredients that feed impasse and harden deadlocks. Brian – a seasoned attorney and mediator, and Lisa, a Collaborative coach and mediator – will offer approaches, techniques and tips for moving effectively through these intimidating moments.

The course was approved for 1.5 Continuing Mediation Education credits! Brian Hirsch will send the ADR-1010 form to the certified mediators after the course.

Please note, CPNV has moved virtual Member Meetings. Please contact the CPNV Administrator (admin@cpnova.com) with any questions you may have.
