Biography
Abbie Frishman, MPS, CFP®, CDFA® is the Director of Divorce Financial Planning Services at Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (CBM). Since 2017, she has focused her practice on helping individuals, couples, and their attorneys navigate the complex financial aspects of divorce, including collaborative, mediated, negotiated, and litigated matters.
Abbie provides comprehensive divorce financial planning and analysis related to support and property division, including cash flow and budget analysis, tax planning, retirement projections, non-marital property allocations, and asset tracing. She is collaboratively trained and frequently serves as a financial neutral in collaborative divorce cases. She is also a trained mediator and helps couples mediate the financial aspects of divorce.
