Pre- and Post-Divorce Financial Planning:
How to ensure clients successfully enter/exit the divorce process.

Presented by: Jordan Egert, CPA, CFE, CDFA™ and Stephanie Anderson, CFA, CFP®, CDFA®

Managing one’s finances can be challenging enough, without layering in the often emotionally fraught aspects of the divorce process. Gaining clarity on what clients own, what they owe, and the true cost of their lifestyles are critical is only one part of a successful divorce process. But how do we ensure spouses are setup for success before and after the divorce process?

During this program, we will discuss how to help clients take control of their finances so that they have a clear understanding of key decisions to make before, during, and after the divorce regarding investments, retirement planning, tax strategy, estate planning, and overall risk management. Additionally, we will look at pitfalls to avoid so that clients can exit the divorce process and begin their next chapter with a sense of financial clarity and confidence.
